On December 7th I embarked onto my journey into Live FM Radio on @959WATDFM. I moved into the 12:15 - 1:00 PM Saturday time slot of one (1) of my best friends, Arthur Boyle, Jr. of "The Boiling Point". Arthur has some family commitments that he has to tend to over the next few months. I am so pleased that Arthur is now the Executive Consultant of "The PaulPonders Podcast on WATD"!
BTW, 95.9WATD is the leading FM Radio Station on the South Shore and The Cape & The Islands. The signal may be heard as far North as Andover and Tewksbury (on a clear day!). BIO For Paul Solano of "Paul Ponders"
Paul Solano is a Fund-Raising, Entertainment, and Hospitality Consultant operating his own “PS AND ALL MARKETING GROUP” and "Paul Ponders Podcast". He has a vast network of hospitality, entertainment, business, civic, and political resources to offer his clients and our listeners.
Paul is also the long-time General Manager of the Pearl Street Station Restaurant in Malden. This 40 year old popular Malden Restaurant was recently selected one (1) of "America's Best Restaurants" by a Kentucky Marketing Firm.
Paul is also the Business Development Manager for #RWCU (River Works Credit Union) where he assists Members (i.e. Members of the #IBEWLocal103) who live or work in Essex, Middlesex, or Suffolk Counties.
Paul is all about the “Guest Experience” and the “Consumer Mindset”.
Paul has also been deeply involved in numerous volunteer activities since 1984 when he first started with then-Congressman Edward J. Markey as the Elderly Coordinator for 17 Cities and Towns. At varying points from 1986-2024, Paul has served as President of the Malden LIONS Club, President of the Malden Rotary Club, Trustee of The Malden Hospital, Board Chair of The Malden YMCA, Board Member of Tri-City Mental Health, Board Member of Project Triangle, Board Member of LADDERS, Inc., Business Advisory Board Member of Mystic Valley Elder Services, Board Member of the Notre Dame Education Center, Board Member of the Malden Chinese Culture Connection, Board Member of Malden Açcess Television (nka Urban Media Arts), Board Member of Tailored For Success, and Manager/Head Coach of his daughters’ Basketball, Softball, and Lacrosse Teams.
He is currently a Board Member of the Malden Chamber of Commerce, Board Member/Treasurer of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame, Board Member of the Arthur Reinherz Charitable Foundation, and a Board Member of the Concerned Advocates of New England.
Paul is a graduate of Boston College and holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from Merrimack College. He is all about “Walking the Walk and Talking the Talk” in a most sincere, honest, and candid fashion.
